You have two options for re-entry permits, single and multiple types. It is highly recommended you get a multiple entry to you don’t have to repeat this process every time you leave the country.

1. Be sure to have your passport and gaijin card.
2. Go to Soft Park in Oita City
   Directions:
   • From Oita-eki, walk straight up the main road until you get to the crossroads with a four-way pedestrian bridge and Oita Bank on the right side.
   • Turn left and walk straight past Oasis Tower on the left (huge, gray monstrosity) after 5 minutes.
   • Soft Park is on the road which is one road parallel to the road you are on now, to your right. Just after Oasis Tower, cross the road to your right at a pedestrian crossing.
   • Take the diagonal road through the car park that leads up to a man-made river. This road plops you out on the road you want to be on and Soft Park is just across that street after your left turn.
3. Obtain a ¥6,000 stamp from the OCN building at the far side of the complex. You must buy it first!
4. Go to the main building where you entered Soft Park and go to the 4th floor. The name “Visa Applications” should be written in English at the entrance.
5. Fill out the paperwork and get your permit.
